Every year BELMAS hosts a conference in different parts of the UK, and invites both its 1000+ membership, and new colleagues interested in the area, to participate. We welcome new and experienced researchers, school and college leaders, doctoral students and many others from all over the world. This enables a rich dialogue, along with excellent networking opportunities. Last year’s blog can tell you more.
The theme for 2016 is: “Unlocking leadership and management potential in different contexts”, and we will be welcoming Keynote Speakers Prof Philip Hallinger and Prof Stephan Huber. Our programme will span a variety of presentation formats for educational research papers and inspirational proposals and our conference mobile app will provide added value to delegates with presenter biographies, delegate contact details and easy networking features. You will find the timetable here. Follow @BELMASConf for live updates on Twitter. This is very much an international exchange of ideas and experiences with representatives from all over the world. There will be a special session on the work of the many BELMAS Research Interest Groups whose membership and activity have continued to grow. I hope to meet you at Carden Park, near the ancient city of Chester. If you are coming from a distance, you may wish to prolong your stay in the area to fully appreciate the Cathedral and other historic sites. Megan Crawford Conference Chair Registration for BELMAS Conference 2016 (#BELMAS2016) is now open and be found at this link.
